I've been using Dub-Happy for a number of years now, and i love using the chat..When it's under control i've logged on the last couple of nights from 11-4am Eastern Time and no one is on to watch and ban the anons and it's getting outta hand with noone to enforce the rules. So i made an account today for the fourms to see if someone is willing to do somthing, if not at least grant mod ship to me so i can control from the time i get on.

No, there's plenty of mods on, they're just inactive do to lack of regulars, there's no point in logging in to delete the infinite amount of trash(trolls, spam, anons posting stupid shit) for the 2-3 people that are gonna talk over the course of the entire night, it may seem frustrating sometimes, but hey, chats a privilege, so don't make any"that's stupid" or "that's not fair" posts, because we don't owe anyone anything.

On a less condescending note, the reason we wont mod you is because we only mod those who do work for the site, because at current, we use the chatango box to network, you could believe it wouldn't be up otherwise. Also we do from time to time mod regulars, and by regular I don't mean people who glance at the chatbox once or twice a day, or post only when they have a question, or my personal favorite, "I've been coming here for 3 years so this site owes me", yeah we'll be sure to send you some candy. regality on this site means your on basically everyday, the community as a whole knows who you are, you have a firm grasp of our hierarchy, you know all the "unwritten rules", you know what the majority of users here like and dislike. And as I've been an actual reg here 2 years and this is the first time I've seen your screen name or have had any contact with you, I can tell you your grossly under-qualified. and yes, I', on at night too, so no "well I'm here at like really late at night 2-5 range" heard it all before and that's where I spend a majority of my time anyway.

Alternatively, if you do want to become a mod, I suggest you put a little time into becoming an actual reg, just be around in general, converse with other reg's, so on so forth, and after a week or two of this become an uploader, we can always use more, this can pretty much situate you as a mod. hope you found this helpful.

I understand all of this king but i was also on this morning to check if there were any mods and until around 2 230 here there wasn't one. i've also been chatting with alot of people over the last couple of days who are are more regular than me and they agree, maybe there is enough mods but alot of us havent seen any of them. i would love to help out the site either way as im starting to also notice a bunch of dead links to animes i have a considerable ammount of them on dvd already anyway XD

By other people, your talking about anar and paz, and they're trolling, both are mods. And the reason you don't "see them on" is because like I said they're ignoring the chat or lurking, there's someone on pretty much 24/7, ex, ppl bitch about no mods being on at 3am, but in reality someone*cough*dras*cough* is on, just doesn't care enough to go on and delete spam so weeaboos can continue their conversation about which narutard is hotter.

We don't need more mods, we need more uploaders. Not up for deliberation.

Now as far as becoming more involved, more power to ya. We need more uploaders like a fat kid needs a heart bypass, so by all means become involved, and who knows, you could become a mod. However, Seeings how I'm not the guy in charge of chat box that decision does not fall on me. I can only cite what I know to be fact.
